As thinkers and designers, we continually ask ourselves, how do we get more with less? Well, with Ogura's small TX01 blower, it would not be a stretch to get 30HP from a stock 18HP engine. Ogura's Wankel style roots blowers are used as superchargers for small engines to boost power. Simply put, they force additional air into the engine's combustion chamber to boost power. With airflows to 50 CFM and pressure boost to 12 PSI, this device is found today in small vehicles, propane forklift trucks, motorcycles and marine applications.

With a focus on smaller engine sizes, compact engine compartments, and the desire to run engines more cleanly and efficiently, this TX01 blower is roughly 5" x 7" x 4" (including the clutch) and fits well in tight underhood spaces. Not only is it small, it weighs only 7 lbs with the Ogura 12VDC electromagnetic clutch.

With a maximum operating temperature of 150 degrees C, this robust and light weight system can handle the toughest application environments with ease.
